Volunteer Opportunities

Building our team of volunteers is essential to the growth of our organization!

Transport Team — Join our WhatsApp Chat where we post when wildlife is in need of a ride. Whether it’s to a veterinarian, to us, or another rehab facility, you can play a huge role in helping save wildlife! Read our Transporter Guidelines then text 845-558-7931 to join!

Laundry Team — Pick up (or we can drop off if you’re close by!) a load or two of wildlife laundry. We will supply the detergent… and dirty laundry!

Grocery Team — Stop at the market and grab some greens, veggies, or fruit to help us feed the wildlife in our care!

Volunteer Grant Writer: We’re seeking a passionate individual with grant writing experience to secure funding and support our mission to protect and rehabilitate Rockland’s wildlife.

We continue to work on our long-term goal of opening up Rockland’s first wildlife facility, but we currently operate out of a private location so we are not accepting volunteers to be hands-on with the animals at this time. If you are already a licensed wildlife rehabilitator in Rockland County and would like to get involved with Rockland Wildlife please send an email to andres@rocklandwildlife.org.
